BMW i3 leads in hot market Czech Republic

With 48 new PEV passenger cars registered last month, registrations were up 71%, with Year-to-date registrations now increasing 104% YoY, to 340 units, this being one of the fastest growing PEV markets in Europe.

The BMW i3 is quite popular in this market, with the German model leading the ranking this year (53 registrations), but also on stock level, with 209 units registered ever since it arrived, in 2013.

In Second Place we have the VW e-Golf, with 37 registrations, followed by two models running for Third Place, with the Nissan Leaf (36 units) slightly ahead of the BMW X5 PHEV (35).

Looking at other Alternative Fuels, the CNG M1 (Passenger cars) market is down slightly (-1%) YoY, with 1.634 units, with the same fuel in the N1 (LCV) category regressing 45% to just 138 units this year, as for LPG, numbers are growing in both categories, with M1 growing 168% to 724 units, while N1 registrations are up 4% to 73 registrations.
